![]() Trial Period means a working test period after promotion, voluntary demotion, or intra-agency lateral transfer during which a classified employee is required to demonstrate satisfactory performance in the job to which promoted, voluntarily demoted, or transferred before acquiring permanent status in the job. The costs in association to the works as specified in this Contract during the course of the Extended Trial Period shall be paid by the Employer to the Contractor as according to SCC 1(c)(2) of this Contract. The Extended Trial Period may cover from the three hundred and ninety seven (397) calendar days up to four hundred and eighty five (485) calendar days from the date for commencement of the Works. The Contractor shall submit five (5) copies of the progress report on monthly basis, to the Engineer, after the commencement of and during the whole course of the pilot plant trials (including the Fixed Trial Period and the Extended Trial Period as specified in Clause 1.7.3 of this Specification). The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper maintenance and servicing of his pilot plants and the ancillary plants during the whole course of the trial period including the Fixed Trial Period and the Extended Trial Period (as specified in Clause 1.7.3 of this Specification), if appropriate. The actual contract period for the Extended Trial Period shall be notified by the Engineer in writing before the end of the Fixed Trial Period as specified in Sub-clause (b) above. ![]() In the event that the major parts and/or components of the pilot plant and the ancillary plants fail during the course of the trial period including the Fixed Trial Period and the Extended Trial Period (as specified in Clause 1.7.3 of this Specification), the Contractor shall repair/replace the failed parts and/or components and put the pilot plant in operation promptly in order to minimise the interruption to the pilot plant trials. ![]() If the proceedings do not result in a possession order and the Trial Period or Extended Trial Period has expired then your tenancy will become a secure tenancy (either flexible or lifetime). Examples of Extended Trial Period in a sentenceĪfter completion of the pilot plant trials (after the Fixed Trial Period and the Extended Trial Period, if applicable), the Contractor shall provide final report to the Engineer within four (4) calendar weeks from the date of completion of the pilot plant trials. ![]()
